About

Where this comes from

Meisterline Controls scopes, sources and quotes industrial control panels. Our background is the component side of this industry.

The component side

We spent years in industrial controls — specifying product, crossing product between brands, and finding a way forward when something was suddenly unavailable. Distributors, equipment manufacturers, integrators, panel shops.

That work taught us a panel quote is only as good as the parts list behind it. So we built the tools we always wanted: a parts database with brand catalog data, the ratings that decide whether two parts are truly equivalent, and years of cross-reference work, used on every job.

Why this matters more than it used to

Data center construction has pulled hard on electrical supply, and lead times on everyday components have stretched with it. Having a second acceptable part ready, with the differences already written down, keeps a job moving.

We put a complete request together so a panel shop's time goes to building.

Working with us

The same person on every job

The person who quoted your last panel handles the next one.

Your drawings go to one shop

They go only to the shop quoting the panel. A job a distributor brings stays the distributor's customer.

What we do

We sell the panel.

We issue the quote, invoice you directly, and own the schedule and the relationship. One quote, one invoice, one contact.

A certified shop builds it.

Panels are built and tested in a UL 508A certified partner shop and carry its UL label.

We don't represent any brand.

We're independent of every brand and distributor. We specify what your drawings call for, or the lines you choose.

We're not tied to one shop. Each job goes to a UL 508A certified shop chosen for that panel: capacity, build quality and freight.

Who we build for

Common questions

Who builds the panel?

A UL 508A certified partner shop builds and tests it, and the panel carries that shop's UL label. We handle the scoping, sourcing, quoting and the order.

Who do I pay, and who handles a warranty claim?

There's one quote and one invoice, from us. Warranty support runs through us as well: we work it with the brand and take care of the replacement.

I don't have drawings. Can you still quote?

Yes. Send a parts list, a marked-up print, or a description of what the panel has to do. Whatever is missing comes back as a list of questions, and we follow up to fill it in. If the panel needs drawings, we'll work with the panel shop to create them.

What does a quote cost?

Nothing. Quotes and parts checks are free, with no contract and no obligation.

How do alternates work?

Alternates are listed beside your part with what matched and what differs, so you can swap one in when stock is better. See real examples.

What happens if a part is discontinued or on a long lead time?

It is flagged with the published successor where there is one, and an equivalent from another brand where one fits. You decide which to use. See how flags are listed.

Can you quote using only certain brands?

Yes. On the request form, "Prefer these" uses those brands wherever they make the part, with alternates from others still listed and marked. "Only these" holds every part and every alternate to the brands you pick.

Are you a distributor or a manufacturer's representative?

We're independent of every brand and distributor. We check parts against published catalog data and specify what your drawings call for, or the lines you choose. The brands we check.

Do you do engineering or design?

Your engineer keeps the design and stays the engineer of record. We flag what the parts say when read together, and your engineer decides.

What happens to the drawings I send?

They are used to quote your project and shared only with the shop quoting it.

Is there a minimum order?

One panel is fine.

Where do you ship?

Anywhere in the United States.

Send drawings, a parts list or a description.
